2VERY subtle change if anyJul 19, 2010
I've been using Carole's Facercise for several months now VERY faithfully. I perform the exercises two times per day (I have not missed one day), and I'm careful to make sure I'm getting the "burn" with each of the exercises. I took before pictures, and have continued to take pictures every couple weeks. I really can't see any change. :(

3Good Exercises, Bad DVDMar 15, 2010
It's a good thing I purchased the book and the DVD at the same time, because one without the other is useless. When I use an exercise DVD, I expect to be able to follow along and complete the exercises with the instructor. However, Carole moves so quickly from one exercise to the next, that it is simply impossible to follow along. The book contains many pages of "education" which frankly, I wasn't too interested in. The actual "facercise" pages of the book were nothing more than photos of Carole making funny faces, with tedious instructions that are sometimes confusing. I have found that the best method is to purchase both the book and the DVD. Watch the DVD to familiarize yourself with how the exercises are done, then use the book as a reminder, as you sit in front of a mirror to make sure you're doing them correctly. Once you get used to facercise, it can be done anywhere, but it does take getting used to. I'm still not convinced that I'm doing it right because I've never felt the "burn."

2Rushed through - hard to followJan 03, 2010
It's hard to follow - it's all rushed through. Not much explaination on exactly how to do it. I also ordered "The Tal Reinhart: Facial Workout" and I like it much better. They explain how to do each exercise and what the purpose of it is.

2Doesn't work that well....Jan 02, 2010
O.K. so I have been doing the exercises faithfully for 9 months, twice a day, 7 days a week. I have only seen a SLIGHT change. And my nasal labia fold has gotten MUCH worse!! And there has been NO change in my forehead wrinkles. I don't think the exercises do anything for those. I think I am ready to try different exercises now and not waste my time on Facercise ones anymore.

3Really wanted this to work!Dec 22, 2009
I was really, really hopeful about Facersise, based on all of the reviews. I haven't written it off completely, but I've been doing a selection of the exercises 1-2 times daily for over a month now, and haven't seen any change whatsoever.

I only do a few of the exercises based on my problem areas. I am 31 and my main issue is under eye hollows due to volume loss in the upper cheek region. I really thought the cheek exercise would help (Carole states that it does) - though I can definitely feel those muscles getting tighter, I haven't seen any improvement in the hollows themselves. I will keep trying though!

A word of caution: I know that Carole says that these exercises shouldn't create or exacerbate wrinkles, but the eye exercises certainly will, depending on how your muscles move. I'm sorry, but squinting your eyes repeatedly WILL cause wrinkles, no matter how strong the underlying muscle becomes.

And my final comment is about the nose exercise - Carole claims that it can shorten your nose. Now that's just silly!
